New Girls Only Courses

We now have two more girls only courses across the counties of Wrexham and Flintshire. These are turn up and play sessions . They are held at :

Ysgol Castell Alun Every Monday 5pm-6pm

Glyndwr University Every Thursday 5pm-6pm

Whit Soccer School Funday

Our next funday will be held at Glyndwr University Sports Centre on Wednesday 29th May from 10am-3pm. During the day the children will take part in organised games , competitions ,take a ground tour and have the opportunity to have a photo with the FA Trophy. Literacy Project

Our second literacy project came to a close yesterday withover 600 children attending a Questiona and Answers Forum with the Wrexham FC Management and players and Childrens author Tom Palmer. Of the schools attending a child from each school with the best question received a signed ball by all of the players. Dennis Leman of the Football Conference and PFA attended and presented a cheque for over £26,000 to the Foundation.

Disability Project

We have just received news of asuccessful bid to run a two year disability project. There are a number of aims and objectives in this project such as increasing participation ,inceasing the number of volunteers and coaches and toforge links and exit routes with schools and clubs. The main three areas of focus are Deaf Football in Year 1 and Cerebal Palsy and Blind Football in Year 2. Anybody wishing to get involved in this project should contact the RCF. Disability Conference

The FAW will be holding a Disability Conference at Glyndwr University on Sunday 30th June from 11am-5pm.

Literacy Finale

The finale event for our literacy project will take place on Thursday 11th April at Glyndwr University Sports Centre. We are expecting around 600 children at this event and we hope to have some special guests in attendance too. This event will be a Questions and Answers Forum with prizes going to each child that comes up with the best questions.
